Isekai GM 31. The Battle of Great Plains ーAbrupt Change in Situationー

Isekai GM 31. The Battle of Great Plains ーAbrupt Change in Situationー

The chapter link is this [CHAPTER LINK]

I have nothing witty to say here.. I’ll just post whatever I have on hand.

(Sir, a message just came from Jirou-sama. He just successfully deterred the 『Hunter』. He asked you to open up a path towards the enemy headquarters)

(Affirmative. Please report that I will clean up the wyrms along the way as well)

(Understood, sir)

[CHAPTER LINK]

I remembered the traditional wyrm. If I’m not mistaken, they regenerate instantly no matter how many times they are cut and can release poisonous dragon breath. Then how to counter them?

It’s rare to see a protagonist referencing not only the Sengoku Era, but also Machiavellianism and Romance of the Three Kingdom. There is also a mention to Sun Tzu recently. It really shows how hardworking he is despite self-proclaiming as an ordinary man with an ordinary life.Oh, he is good at cooking, as well.

Clawitzer resembles a cyan-colored shrimp with a single black stripe on each of its body segments. The legs that this Pokémon had as a Clauncher have disappeared. Clawitzer has two claws, the right one much larger than the left one. The smaller claw is blue, with a yellow tip and black stripe. The large claw is dark blue, with a pair of yellow antennae and three black stripes. Clawitzer has a black stripe across its face and yellow semi-circular eyes.

Clawitzer’s massive claw can suck up water and launch compressed cannonballs capable of piercing tanker hulls. It also has a nozzle on the back, through which Clawitzer can expel water to propel itself at a speed of up to 60 knots. Its massive claw is packed with meat, which can be used as a cooking ingredient.

Defensively, the Water type is very strong when combined with high defensive stats. Most Water types can use Ice-type moves to counter Grass types. As such, Electrictypes are the only true threat to Water types, as few Pokémon of the Water type can learn strong Ground-type moves. However, Water types that have Grass, Ground, or Dragon as their other type have the advantage of having their Electric weakness nullified. Although these type combinations are neutral to Ice, it is possible to deal 4× times damage with Freeze-Dry, an Ice-type move introduced in Generation VI that ignores the Water type’s resistance to Ice.

Water-type Pokémon often have the most balanced attributes, usually coming with decent AttackSpecial Attack, and Defense stats, but below average Speed.
